China Is About to Regulate AI—and the World Is Watching — “The sweeping rules cover algorithms that set prices, control search results, recommend videos, and filter content. They will impose new curbs on major ride-hailing, ecommerce, streaming, and social media companies. The regulations will extend an extraordinary crackdown on China’s most popular and most valuable tech companies, which has included big fines and sidetracked stock offerings.” https://www.wired.com/story/china-regulate-ai-world-watching/

The Russian invasion of Ukraine might be the best thing happening to the West in a long time. But it's not enough. To overcome Western decadence and self-flagellation we need China as an arch enemy. Or, even better, an aggressive Chinese-Russian military alliance.
If the average person in the West has to fear for their safety and the safety of their family, causes such as equity and diversity will take a backseat and Western nations will overcome their polarization and unite against the outside aggressor. Nobody will care what skin color or gender the defenders of our nations have. Competence and strength will rule again and an arms race will usher in a golden age of technological progress.
When it comes to supporting their own nations, the fringes of the Western political left and right are similarly retarded.
So you don't want to fight against Russia or China because of Trump, racism, mask mandates, woke cancellations, etc.? Wake up, all of these issues will get orders of magnitude worse when those countries win. Yes, there won't be any diversity officers but there will be CCP apparatchiks. Yes, the police won't be shooting BIPOCs but that's because they either don't exist or are in concentration camps. You don't like lockdowns? The police will literally weld your door shut.
