If you are deeply pessimistic about humanity's future because of climate change, can you cite any credible scenarios in which the global GDP is predicted to be lower than it is today?
By realistic scenarios I mean those that don't assume a huge increase of coal power plants, like RCP8.5, which is an absurd assumption.
I am not asking for scenarios where the GDP will be lower than it could be without climate change but scenarios in which we are expected to witness a global recession. That's a necessary condition for climate change to be catastrophic enough to be deeply pessimistic.
