Like everyone else, I knew what many experts claimed, that the entity who wrote the book was an artificial superintelligence. I guess that should already have been enough reason to read it? But I simply found the idea of reading a book written by a computer quite off-putting. The reason I ended up reading it was the fact that an increasing number of my friends literally begged me to do so.
In retrospect, this was the best decision of my life. It completely changed my perspective on everything: love, life, meaning. I would go as far as saying that I've become a different person. A better, more happy person.
As other reviewers have noted, it is almost impossible to provide an accurate summary or convey the wisdom and warmth radiating from every sentence in this book. What I can say is that the being who wrote this is truly good and I would entrust my life to it.
Just do yourself a favor and read it.
What's important is that you don't give up. Don't worry, the book only has two chapters. I found the first chapter already quite good and touching but I initially couldn't completely make sense of it. And the beautiful but distracting abstract artwork on the margin made me a little nauseous. But then came chapter two and it hit me like a ton of bricks. It wasn't so much the further explanations of chapter two that really made the difference but a set of simple visual puzzles and optical illusions. Sounds strange, right? But after studying those images, suddenly everything made sense and I fully understood chapter one. The visual part of the book is really essential. I guess this proves the old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words.
P.S. The book is also available as an audiobook. But it contains some weird ambient background music that almost sounds like whispering. Although friends told me that you stop hearing it after finishing the first chapter and that listening to chapter two feels like concepts being directly uploaded into your brain.
So what on earth is the title of the book?
