Blue Origin
Alex was awestruck by the beauty of the stellar engine powering one of the billions of implacably powerful Matrioshka brains in this region of M31.
As a member of more than a septillion baseline humans living among the galaxies, it was a great honor to be granted an audience with a singularity level 2 being. Even though SI:2 beings were one of the lowest ranks of entities across human space, compared to a baseline human they were still gods.
As Alex waited for his personal starship to come into an acceptable communication range he contemplated the connection of his ship to the distant cradle of humanity. His starship's origin could be directly traced back to old Earth and a company called Blue Origin. He was fascinated by the fact that the decisions of one person in the distant past made his current journey possible.
Alex learned that his audience began when one of the local god's SI:1 drones brought his starship to a sudden hold that seemingly violated everything he knew about physics. So he asked his first question:
"Is there anything humanity should have done differently?"
The god's answer was directly implanted into his brain and felt like an instantaneous realization:
"Jeff Bezos should have paid more taxes so that the government could have spent his money on diversity officers and gender studies."
